Yes, I know… another posting of my daughter!
What can I say; she is just so darn cute!
Now that we are officially in the colder season, I am really trying to force myself to get outside into the fresh crisp air instead of hiding away in the warmth of my apartment all winter! The only reasons that I can find to be good enough to go outside for any length of time when it’s this cold out is to go to the airport to head somewhere warmer or to take photos! On this blistering cold Sunday morning, I hopped out of bed and slipper-skidded into the kitchen where the calendar hangs and began to count down the days remaining until I fly away on the first of my two sunny vacations in December: 1, 2, 3, … sigh… 4, 5, 6, … 7… Groan… 13 days. Ugh.
Next best thing? I slipper-skidded into the washroom while secretly wishing that the Jetson’s “let-the-shower-do-all-of-the-work-for-you” invention really existed and did a rush job of preparing myself for the day (it is the weekend after all!). I grabbed my camera, grabbed change for coffee, grabbed my girl; who was already deep in her world of Polly Pockets and I forced us out into the wintery elements just to get some early morning fresh air. Hmm… Ok… not just for fresh air because as we can clearly see, being nerdy was the REAL reason I was of my usual hibernation and… maybe it wasn’t really THAT cold out but it will be soon and in my head it already is, so it still seemed like a far superior idea just to stay home… but off we went! Aren’t you proud!
Here are some photos of our day of Christmas window shopping in Downtown Chatham!

Her christmas wish list…
My Christmas wish list!
Could it be happening… Could I be getting into the Christmas spirit this year?
A cup of Eve Chocolatier’s Hot Cocoa is a perfect way to warm up on days like today!
This was from Saturday… I’m planning a plan that involves indoor photos! Stay tuned!
