I know I am horribly late blogging these photos but as they say, better late than never! I am hoping that works in this case too! I will be catching up on a log of blogging over the next two weeks.

You might remember the maternity shoot that I did for Phil & Alex last spring (click here to be refreshed!), well now you can meet beautiful Miss Sophie too!
She has an amazing full head of vibrant red hair that I just can’t get enough of! Red locks with crystal blue eyes… Look out Phil! This girl is going to be a knock out!
As always, it was wonderful to catch up with these two and hear about all of the new changes in their lives. I am hoping it won’t be long before they call on me again for the maternity photos of their newest little one… which should be arriving sometime in February if my math is correct!
Congratulations you two! You make amazing babies… don’t stop… ever!

Phil & Alex – Maternity

I’m a little behind in blogging… I know I know… shame on me!

I have known Phil for a few years, but it has been ages since I have seen him. It was great to catch up and see what was happening in his life now. He introduced me to his beautiful wife Alex who was bearing a lovely 9 month baby belly!
We did this shoot back in March and since then, Alex has given birth to a lovely baby girl! Congrats Alex and Phil… I can’t wait to meet Sophie!

Girard-Simpson Series 1

I have known Brandy since we were wee little girls playing dress up. Our mother’s grew up together, and now we are mothers together. I haven’t seen her in over 15 years, but she is still the same chatty sweet girl that I remember! I met Jason for the first time yesterday and I’m glad that I did. He’s going to make a great father! I see him as the type of guy who will be up in the night gladly catering to what the baby demands.

Today’s shoot was a bit of a challenge considering I was running completely on a backup camera of which I have never used before! I was so nervous that I was pushing the limits on the ISO while indoors. Everything is different on this backup. Yes, my black betty (Canon 30D) is sick. I will have her back in JUST 4-6 weeks… yes… 4-6 WEEEEKS!! That seems like a life time considering I use it on a daily basis! I guess cameras work, until they don’t. Hmph. I have had this camera for almost 3 years and it has served me well, but THANK GOODNESS I got the extended warranty when I purchased it more than 2.5 years ago! Phew! All is not lost!

Consider this series 1, as there are a lot more photos to come!
