Veronica Lane Photography bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

A psychic once told me that I would have two kinds of jobs in my life: a job that gave me money and a job that gave me pleasure in life; but I would have to choose one. She also said that she could see me in Rome with a man whose name started with the letter M. At the time, I couldn't believe her! A small town girl like me... in Rome? I was only 17 at the time... It all meant nothing. I haven't thought about that psychic in more than 15 years, until now.

Right now, I have a very unique job that let's me travel around the world while dealing with very high profile clients (Money), I love my job... but lately I have debated on giving up my day job to become a full time photographer because that's where my passion has led me (Pleasure). I would have never thought that I could pursue my dream of owning my own photography business if it hadn't been for the love of my life pushing me everyday to do what I love. Did I mention that his name begins with (M) and that he's Italian? This small town girl is moving to overseas in the next few months do to what I love. I really wish I could remember that psychic's name!

I currently live in Ontario, Canada with my 8 year old daughter. She is my sunshine... my only sunshine! You will see her in my blog photos more than anyone else. I can't help it, she's just so cute! The photos that I have of her I will treasure for life. They are REAL moment photos that really show her personality. That is my photography style and what I aim for when shooting: Real. Life. Photography.

Nothing pleases me more than when I give my clients their photos and see the smiles on their faces. Whether it's wedding photography, boudoir or children’s photography, the smiles always come out!

I love photography… and it shows!

Monaco – Monte Carlo

Monaco:  Just under 2 km² with an estimated population of almost 33,000; making it the most densely populated country in the world.
As with most of my trips, there is just never enough time to really appreciate the destination for what it is. Monaco is a beautiful country filled with both old European architecture as well as...

Muchas Photos!

My suitcase is still full, but the photos are up! These are the priorities in life!
Our trip took place in Guadalajara, Lake Chapala, Tequila, Puerto Vallarta, and Manzanillo. All very beautiful, all very tasty! My tolerance for spice is certainly heightened right now! I am going to have to keep up with eating spicy food...

Vacation Day Seven: Rally Day

He has maped out every inch of the roads… He could probably drive it blind folded. He is confident… but I am worried!
Thankfully today’s rally isn’t about winning, but about being part of a prestigious group of honorable racers.
My day was spent with Giovanni; the Girardo family’s long time friend and mechanic. I should mention that...

Vacation Day Six: Mapping out the road ahead

Most of today’s photos come to you from the inside of the car. I am a little surprised at how well a lot of them turned out since we were whipping around the bends at 100km/h.  This was my first glimpse at what Max’s rally life is all about. I was hoping it would give me...

Vacation Day Five: I’m never going home!

I can’t think of a better way of starting out a day than to walk along the ocean side. Welcome to Santander, Spain. I read that a large part of the city was burned to the ground in the 1940’s, but Santander is still spilling with historic Spanish scenery.  The Markets were filled with meat!...

Vacation Day Four, Part 2: Loredo & Castro

Hello Spain!
Hello Sunshine!
Hello chocolate delectible delights!
Spain is beautiful! What more is there to say! In every direction, there were more and more photos to be taken. It’s hard to take “photographs” when you are trying to keep up with the rest of your party. I could have spent hours in the towns absorbing all of...

Vacation Day Four, Part 1: Spain… WHAT is that noise???

We arrived at the small Santander Airport after dark on Monday night. The air was cool and it looked like it had just finished raining.  Off we go to the hotel in Hoznayo to eat and sleep… tomorrow is going to be a long day!
At 5am, I was awakened by a frightful sound! What is that...

Vacation Day Three, Part Two: What time is our flight?

Have you ever miscalculated your travel time to get to the airport on for a flight… to a different country? A lot of people have. In my opinion, that means you travel too much! It all becomes second nature!
We got to the airport at 4:15pm. Our gate closed at 4:20pm, we hadn’t even gone through baggage/passport check...
