We arrived at the small Santander Airport after dark on Monday night. The air was cool and it looked like it had just finished raining. Off we go to the hotel in Hoznayo to eat and sleep… tomorrow is going to be a long day!
At 5am, I was awakened by a frightful sound! What is that noise?? I got up and looked out the window. The sun had just started to peek over the hills to cast a beautiful light over the little noise makers… is that…. ROOSTERS…. right outside out hotel room window?? It’s going to be a long week in Spain!
It’s amazing what the night doesn’t tell you!
