He has maped out every inch of the roads… He could probably drive it blind folded. He is confident… but I am worried!
Thankfully today’s rally isn’t about winning, but about being part of a prestigious group of honorable racers.
My day was spent with Giovanni; the Girardo family’s long time friend and mechanic. I should mention that like most of the people I have been surrounded by during my trip to Spain, Giovanni doesn’t speak English! We spent most of the day in the car together trying to piece together words in multiple languages to communicate. For the most part of the day, it was pretty quiet in the car, but we did manage to get in some great conversation about our families and the breath taking scenery around us. My take on the day: Mi Piace!
Tomorrow I will be heading back to London.
