Vacation Day Six: Mapping out the road ahead

Most of today’s photos come to you from the inside of the car. I am a little surprised at how well a lot of them turned out since we were whipping around the bends at 100km/h.  This was my first glimpse at what Max’s rally life is all about. I was hoping it would give me some insight on how safe it actually is, but it’s really not! Okay, I will say it… I was a little afraid for my life. Have you ever had a sense of fear so strong that your body goes numb and your sinus’s miraculously clear up in a split second? That was me: in the back seat of the BMW… scared for my life…driving in the mountains in Spain… with clear sinuses! Of course Max on the other hand made it seem like a Sunday drive. He’s good! Actually… he’s an amazing driver!
I was a little worried that my camera snapping action from the back seat was going to distract the guys from properly mapping out ever inch of the road, but as you will see… I wasn’t the only distraction on the roads!  The cows in Spain roam like stray cats in New York!
